Nook Glowlight 4 Plus e-reader

Barnes and Nobles will soon release a new e-reader called Nook Glowlight 4 Plus with a 7.8 inch screen.

Barnes and Noble is the biggest bookstore chain in the US and has somewhat neglected its e-reader line in recent years, letting Kindle, Kobo and Pocketbook come out with ever more advanced reading machines.

But 2023 looks to be the year of change for Barnes And Nobles (B&N) as the company is working on a new e-reader with a 7.8-inch screen.

This new e-reader from B&N will be a Nook Glowlight 4 Plus and would therefore compete directly with the Pocketbook Inkpad 4 by offering an alternative with similar technical characteristics.

We can expect a nice Carta 1200 7.8 inch screen, Bluetooth and headphone jack (yes for audiobooks !) and Wifi.

Considering the e-readers already marketed under the Nook brand, it will also be equipped with a lighting with color temperature adjustment (blue light filter) for a better reading comfort : GlowLight + illumnation.

A "night mode" will also be in this e-reader : it display white characters on black screen.

This Nook Glowlight 4 Plus will also be waterproof.

Nook Glowlight 4 Plus e-reader technical specifications

This Nook Glowlight Plus e-reader has no release date for the moment, but it should arrive really soon because some Barnes and Nobles bookstores already displays informations about it.

The price will be $199.99.
